Principle - Glen Ford
Glen Ford spent his entire working life in the Postal, Logistics and Transportation fields building profitable business and making long lasting and strong relationships within the industry. Glen has travelled the world working for multiple companies trying to improve their solutions and has lived in New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States of America. Starting out in the New Zealand Post graduate program he was fortunate to work in every department from Post Shops, Domestic Mail centers through to Postal and Delivery management. He became the International Mail center Manager with a team of 300 with success in reducing costs and increasing performance. He was then offered a role in the Transend business helping New Zealand Post consulting efforts around the globe for which he spent time in South African and Spain. Swiss Post soon approached him to help set up a new and revolutionary system of offering shared transportation to postal administrations around the world. This lead to a successful launch of the product and meeting a maintaining strong relationships with a large number of the Postal Administrations CEO’s and Transportation Directors. Through the success of the program Deutsche Post asked him to join their team to help set up a similar system and eventually was asked to launch and head up the effort in the Americas. This lead to senior roles in Operational Management, Airline Purchasing before ending up as Vice President of Product management for the $120m international product. Belgium Post soon offered a new and exciting role but with unique timing the opportunity owning and operating his own business became available.
Glen Co-founded GePS, Parcel Monkey USA, Navia USA and European Ecommerce Solutions. Jersey Post brought these companies in 2019 and Glen started his consulting career and since has supported FedEx Cross border on sales and transportation strategy, Ministry of Health New Zealand supporting the roll out of the COVID-19 Vaccination through managing the transportation network for this, Recently he has helped courier companies in New Zealand and the UK on operational and sales strategy and other companies on international transport validation
In his spare time he likes all sports and plays golf, tennis, cricket and runs to keep fit. An avid traveler and enjoys all cultures and opportunities to explore them .
